The Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens Inc. (AASC) is one of Virginia’s 25 Area Agencies on Aging, tasked by the state Department for the Aging to promote dignity, independence, and security for older Virginians. AASC delivers a full spectrum of services—including aging support, caregiver assistance, Meals on Wheels, and public transportation—to residents of Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, and Tazewell counties. By forging strong partnerships with local communities, AASC tailors its programs to meet the unique needs of rural seniors, ensuring accessible and culturally relevant care. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience as a manager/administrator in a healthcare services operation
