Job Description
Apple is seeking a highly visible Performance and Power Engineer to analyze and optimize end-to-end system performance within the Neural Engine Software team. The role involves identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting performance profiling and diagnostics. They will be expected to use and develop specialized tools to engage with QA teams to create performant tests.
Requirements
- BS degree and 3+ years of experience with system performance analysis
- Excellent programming skills in C or Python
- Familiarity with AI networks (CNN, transformer, diffusion models)
- Proficiency with profiling and optimizing software
- Strong background in data science and statistical methods
