Cellular Protocol Development Engineer, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems

Apple is looking for a Cellular Protocol Development Engineer to join their Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and patent next-generation wireless connectivity technologies for Apple products and services. The team aims to create seamless wireless systems that feel like magic.

Requirements

• Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in embedded system software development
• Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming using C/C++
• Scripting (Python preferred, Perl) and debugging
• Experience in wireless software development, Access Stratum or cellular protocols is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to write thoughtful, maintainable code
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
