Molding Process Engineer

Apple is seeking a Molding Process Engineer to lead the development of plastic tooling projects for mobile devices. The role involves troubleshooting, improving productivity and quality, serving as an internal expert, and collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering and innovation, with experience in molding processes, scientific molding, and material properties.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in molding process position
• Experience in developing plastic processing parameters with hands-on experience in mold setup, process optimization, and problem-solving
• Proficient in using scientific molding technique
• Able to analyze mold flow analysis, scientific study, and provide improvement feedback
• BS or above in Engineering, Plastics Technology, Polymer Science, or equivalent
• Proficient in written, presentation, and oral communication
