Operations NPI Test Engineer

The Operations NPI Test Engineer will perform assignments in manufacturing engineering functions, including Design for Testability, Product Life Cycle Engineering, Test Process Engineering, and Failure/Data Analysis. They will develop and improve test processes, analyze failures, and provide technical leadership on projects, collaborating with vendors, contract manufacturers, and other engineering groups.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical, Computer Science - Engineering or Physics, Masters / Phd preferred.
• 4+ years of work experience in any of assembly, inspection, test station design, test development, maintenance and / or automation equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
• Understand, plan development builds and mass production with factories worldwide.
• Experienced in working with multi-functional teams such as hardware design, system teams, capital equipment, quality and process engineering.
• Knowledgeable in crafting tester qualification requirements including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability and reproducibility, design of experiments and failure analysis.
