Operations Reliability Engineer

Apple seeks an Operations Reliability Engineer to develop and implement quality systems for the iPhone product, working with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers. The role requires strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as experience in failure analysis, Weibull analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical experience in Quality and/or Engineering
• A degree in an engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Materials
• Deep understanding of reliability engineering concepts
• Expertise in problem-solving methodologies (5 why, fishbone, 8D)
• Proficiency in Statistics, FMEAs
• Certified as CRE, CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (plus)
• Ability to travel up to 40%
