Product Design Engineer - Interconnect

As a Product Design Engineer - Interconnect at Apple, you will help create the next generation of devices by conceiving, designing, and bringing products into production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to redefine the user experience. You will contribute to interconnect technologies, including designing high-speed and high-power interconnects, novel wireless interfaces, and developing charging accessories.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• BSME or higher
• Analytical and problem solving skills as applied to mechanical engineering
• Fluency in 3D CAD software
• Ability to design cosmetic and structural plastic and metal components
• Experience in design for manufacturability and design for assembly
• Experience with statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing
• Experience presenting and communicating technical concepts, ideas, and solutions graphically
• Ability to travel internationally (20%+)
