Product Design Engineer - Softgoods

Apple is seeking a motivated Product Design Engineer to join a cross-functional team responsible for designing and launching new products, particularly in the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch accessories. The role involves close collaboration with various departments including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, and Software. Engineers will work on prototypes, prototypes, and utilize engineering analysis methods.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in production part design
• Good engineering fundamentals (beam bending, free body diagrams, GD&T)
• 3D and 2D CAD skills (NX preferred)
• Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
