Software Development Engineer - Test

Join Apple's IS&T team as a Software Development Engineer - Test to build the next generation of software services. Participate in quality engineering for mission critical applications, design and build scalable automated testing scripts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined work experience in Software Development Engineer in Test/Quality Engineering
• Strong programming skills (Python or Java)
• Expertise in QE processes, tools, metrics and automation architecture
• Expertise in testing API/Web Services (Rest & SOAP), databases, and batch processes
• Hands on in automating functional, system and integration tests
• Prior experience of ETL testing
• High proficiency in writing complex queries, performing data profiling, and extracting data across diverse ecosystems
• Ability to translate complex Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping rules into precise validation scenarios
• Solid understanding of software build tools, CI/CD integrations, deployment process and code quality checking tools
