Software Engineer, Creativity Apps

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join the Creativity Apps team and develop new and innovative on-device media management features for the creative space. The team is looking for someone with hands-on experience with collaboration, persistence, or syncing on Apple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design, as well as strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience developing and shipping reliable, scalable, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience with Apple platforms including iOS and macOS
• Proficient in Swift
• Ability to write performant, scalable, maintainable, and correct multi-threaded code
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
