This role involves leading and interacting with contract manufacturers' EE teams to ensure high-quality work during the NPI stage. Responsibilities include understanding Apple-designed products through schematics, occasional circuit or system design, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and defining test plans. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
- Good EE fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging, functional verification.
- Strong communication and collaboration skill to work with cross-function teams, contract manufacturers and vendors.
- Deep understanding and experience of low frequency interface likes: I2C, SPI, UART, RS485 etc.
- Design and testing experience in at least one or some of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power(DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, audio/camera/display/wireless integration and measurement, sensor design and integration.
