Job Description
The appliedAI Initiative is looking for a Software Architect with a focus on AI Architecture to design code-first architectures and guide teams to deliver production AI systems for enterprise clients. The role involves defining system, data, and deployment architectures, establishing standards and patterns, and architecting LLM/ML solutions.
Requirements
- STEM degree (preferably Computer Science)
- 5–8+ years designing and building production-grade software
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency in Python and one of C, C++, Go, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js
- Expertise in distributed systems, APIs/microservices, messaging, and data storage
- Cloud-native and on-prem experience
- MLOps architecture experience and monitoring/drift detection
- Security and privacy awareness
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Fluent English, fluent German is a plus
