International Trade Compliance Manager

Applied Intuition is hiring an International Trade Compliance Manager to join their Legal team. The role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing controls to comply with U.S. and international export control regulations. The position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, and requires 5+ years of experience working on international trade controls, expertise in U.S. export controls, and familiarity with global sanctions regimes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on international trade controls
• Experience working on international trade controls at a company that sells software and/or hardware to military customers or automotive industry OEMs
• Experience designing and implementing compliance policies
• Expertise in U.S. export controls (e.g., ITAR, EAR)
• Familiarity with global sanctions regimes, including in the U.S. and UK
• Familiarity with licensing and compliance IT systems (e.g., DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR)
• Familiarity with U.S. import duty regimes (e.g., Section 301)
• Self-starter mentality, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth company environment
• An active U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
