Buyer role responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, machinery, and services for state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, collaborating across teams and showcasing organizational and strategic planning skills.
Requirements
- Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality
- Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration
- Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
- Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
