Buyer (B2)

We are seeking a Buyer to purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of related experience.

Requirements

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories.
• Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration.
• Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
• Drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers).
