Buyer (Based in Penang)

We are a global leader in materials engineering solutions and we're looking for a Buyer to join our team in Kulim, MYS. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, machinery, and services for our manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with various teams, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor inventory to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Leads purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments
• Develops methods of business simplification for the procurement function
• Manages activities of the purchasing group in the manager's absence
• Manages projects for purchasing, monitors cost, schedule, and scope of assigned projects
• Oversees workload distribution among Buyers, trains and audits activities of lower level personnel
