Export Compliance Analyst (Deemed Exports & Technology Controls)

Applied Materials is seeking an Export Compliance Analyst to support its export compliance program with a primary focus on deemed export licensing and technology controls. The role involves preparing and submitting deemed export license applications, coordinating cross-functionally to collect required technical and HR data, and administering and improving Technology Control Plans (TCPs) to protect controlled technology and comply with U.S. export regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field
• 2 – 4 years of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, HR compliance, security compliance, or related operational compliance role
• Working knowledge of U.S. export control concepts (e.g., EAR/ITAR fundamentals, controlled technology, foreign national access, recordkeeping)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) with comfort working cross-functionally
