Job Description
We are seeking a Hardware (HW) Qualification and Development Support Team (DST) Engineer IV to join our team at Applied Materials. The successful candidate will be a technical expert in at least 2 R&D disciplines and will be responsible for supporting R&D module owners, qualifying module performance, and leading complex projects.
Requirements
- Technical expert in at least 2 R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM)
- Support R&D module owner in 'Off & On Tool' Module Integration, Calibration and Qualification;
- Qualify Module performance to spec (on & off tool);
- Support R&D development (C&F) activities.
- Lead Qualification of complex, non-system components (isolated from application);
- Provide risk assessment.
- Define & execute Qualification plans;
- Define, execute and qualify calibration procedures (off and on tool).
- Tool owner - Expert in tool Build and complex Integration.
- Production documentation: define and qualify full build book and full sub system ATP tests.
- High debug ability and 3rd level of escalation to modules that are within area of expertise
