Materials Project Management II

The Materials Project Management II role at Applied Materials is a full-time position responsible for managing materials shortages, leading internal and external relationships, and ensuring supply continuity to support production lines. The role requires a strong understanding of business drivers and ability to drive strategic supply to meet business demand. The position involves working with various departments, including Purchasing, Supplier Account Management, and Suppliers to ensure timely and effective communication regarding material availability.

Requirements

• Manage all materials shortages for assigned Business Unit
• Lead internal and external relationships to ensure consistent, timely and effective communication regarding material availability
• Work with Purchasing Manager/Buyers on constraint suppliers/critical parts to ensure supply continuity
• Material Planning for all critical parts with business knowledge
• Interface with suppliers/PM/buyers to resolve shortages and provide timely update to BU
• Attend all BU Production/War Room Meetings and suppliers' meetings
