Materials Project Manager

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. We're seeking a Materials Project Manager to join our team in Singapore. As a Materials Project Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting and communicating engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers, leading the Materials Core Team, and coordinating product development process deliverables. You will also work with the engineering team to interpret engineering requirements and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

• Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers
• Leads Materials Core Team and coordinates product development process deliverables
• Collaborates with engineering team to interpret engineering requirements
• Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations
• Coordinates activities around source selection, specification creation and price negotiation
• Manages materials change control process
• Meets cost objectives and resolves quality issues
