Mechanical Engineer IV

As a Mechanical Engineer IV at Applied Materials, you will leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to design, develop, and modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations, and coordinating the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.

Requirements

• Problem identification and troubleshooting of complex mechanical problems
• Leading and executing engineering projects
• Designing and modifying engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications
• Interface with internal and external customers regarding complex mechanical issues
• Design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes
• Establishing standards across all operational processes
• Generating product specifications
• Defining, coordinating, performing, and generating engineering test reports
• Performing engineering analysis of complex scope
