Job Description
New Product Manufacturing Engineer III will develop, implement, and release new product BOMs for complex modules and product structure. The role will also manage the development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) and perform 3D solid model virtual analysis process. The engineer will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of NPME role
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, lift, distinguish between colors, and work in an environment with noise
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a clean room and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
- Leadership skills to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Problem solving skills to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
- Interpersonal skills to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
