We are seeking a highly skilled professional with achievement mentality to fill the role of a NPI Supply Chain Program Manager in our ALD NPI Material Program Management team. The ideal candidate will possess an educational background in engineering (BA) as well as business, coupled with a proven track record in program management and supply chain proficiency within the semiconductor industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program management – preferably in a NPI context, supply chain consulting/ management, and business acumen.
- Extensive knowledge of various fabrication commodities and processes.
- Experienced in supplier negotiation preparation, strategies, and execution.
- Practical experience in material cost management, should costing, benchmarking and best BoM execution.
- Experienced in calculating and analyzing supplier cost models.
- Know how to concisely and effectively communicate (key messaging), with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced and efficient usage of MS Excel and Power Point
- Program Management
- Oversee and manage end-to-end semiconductor equipment NPI development programs from Supply Chain perspective.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality control throughout the NPI project lifecycle.
- Early identify and resolve potential complications/ risks jeopardizing the program’s targets. Provide fact-based containment options and/ or sustainable solution scenarios to executive stakeholders.
- Supply Chain Expertise
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategy from NPI to High Volume that meets performance requirements.
- Collaborate and negotiate with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and components.
- Establishing and ensuring adherence to best practice policies and procedures. Develop, implement, and manage best practice material handling in support of shop floor lean manufacturing and lean logistics initiatives.
- Contract Manufacturing/ Chem Delivery
- Demonstrate proficiency across diverse fabrication commodities, including but not limited to photolithography, etching, deposition, and wafer processing. (Metal machining, Advanced materials, weldments, power supply, RF power, etc.)
- Leverage knowledge of material science principles to optimize semiconductor equipment design and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative materials for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
- Lead initiatives to assess and implement advancements in fabrication technologies to sustainably support gross margin goals.

- Under direct supervision may negotiate contracts as necessary.
- Utilizes the preferred supplier selection and assessment process when selecting suppliers.
- Completes supplier risk assessment on critical and unique parts.
- Monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).
- Materials
- Coordinates activities around source selection, specification creation and price negotiation with appropriate team members.
- Executes commercialization (transition) materials plan).
- Manages materials change control process.
- Meets cost objectives and resolves quality issues.
- Generates and publishes Key Process Indicators. Tracks total landed costs targets.
- Works with engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements.
- Assists in developing supplier and commodity road maps to engineering.
- Utilizes value analysis on build-to-print components in support of Should Cost analysis.
- Actively mediates and partners with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues for assigned product groups.
- Escalate issues to Commodity Business Managers when necessary.
