We are seeking an Operations and Customer Quality Engineer to develop and apply quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements. The successful candidate will gather operational and test data, evaluate results, and develop procedures to improve Product Quality. The role requires extensive analysis with Excel, experience in high volume manufacturing environments, and a proven track record of working and managing customer issues and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering Technology
- Advanced Quality Certifications
- 5-8 Years of Quality function experience in general industrial equipment, automotive, heavy engineering, medical, etc.
- Drive investigation 8D/SCAR Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action, Containment, Prevention, Proliferation measures, FMEA, DMAIC, Green Belt Certified or equivalent
- Microsoft Office applications (Excel proficiency required), Power BI
- Experience in high volume manufacturing environments
- Proven track record working and managing customer issues and suppliers
- Knowledge of Quality systems and measurements, Lean Manufacturing, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Product Part Approval Process (PPAP), PFMEA, ISO9001, Quality Assurance tools
