Senior Data Engineer

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build data solutions, operate and evolve large-scale data platforms, and deliver data warehouse solutions for enterprise data.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, high-availability data pipelines
• Operate and evolve large-scale, production-grade data platforms
• Deliver data warehouse solutions for enterprise data
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines
• Own the day-to-day health of data warehouse
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leaders
• Implement and enforce security, access control, compliance, and governance standards
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies
• Document and communicate data architectures and pipelines
• Lead or mentor engineers and contribute to planning and execution
