Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Physicist to join our R&D CTO division at the forefront of semiconductor metrology innovation. In this role, you will help define and advance the long-term eBeam technology roadmapâdeveloping concepts, exploring breakthrough technologies, and driving the scientific foundation for future electron beam systems used in advanced process control.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or a related scientific field.
- Experience in simulation, numerical modeling, and strong programming skills (e.g., Python or MATLAB).
- Ideally, deep knowledge in particle beam system development (electron optics, high-voltage systems, vacuum technology, emitter technologies).
- Understanding of semiconductor process control is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in complex system development, from design and simulation to prototyping and testing.
- Experience in planning and executing technical projects.
- Fluent English; intermediate German is a plus.
