Senior Workplace Design Manager

We are seeking a Senior Workplace Design Manager to drive project design solutions that are locally relevant and align with Applied Materials Global Workplace Design Guidelines. The position is responsible for guiding project programming, concept, design development, and final design of specified regional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or interior design or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience within an architectural practice and/or design management in a corporation, preferably managing the design process for mid to large scale projects.
• 5+ years of experience in a project management capacity.
• Experience in the technology industry or similarly technically complex industry.
• Ability to interpret Global Workplace Design Guidelines and align with regional needs and culture.
• Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate with and effectively influence senior leaders.
• Experience selecting, engaging, and managing design and construction-related service providers.
• Ability to partner effectively with demanding and highly technical business leaders and internal customers.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to direct/coach teams and provide feedback.
