Software Engineer

We are developing a manufacturing data and applications platform to support digitalization and automation across the organization. As a Software Engineer at Applied Materials, you'll dive deep into ground-breaking technologies—like machine learning and AI—to craft novel software solutions that solve our customers’ high-value problems. Our Software Engineers are responsible for designing, prototyping, developing, and debugging software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices to ensure quality and functionality.

Requirements

• Track record of building and maintaining in‐house, multi‐user, web‐based applications for internal stakeholders
• Strong programming fundamentals with hands‐on experience in at least one general‐purpose language
• Solid SQL skills and practical experience designing or maintaining relational databases
• Experience developing APIs or backend services
• Hands‐on experience integrating with external systems, databases, or APIs in a production environment
• Working knowledge of enterprise operational data concepts
• UI/UX fundamentals sufficient to build intuitive, task‐oriented user interfaces
