Software/Systems (Controls) Engineer

We are a global leader in materials engineering solutions and are looking for a Software/Systems (Controls) Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer at Applied Materials, you'll dive deep into ground-breaking technologies like machine learning and AI to craft novel software solutions that solve our customers' high-value problems.

Requirements

• Design and develop code for complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices
• Develop software documentation and test procedures
• Troubleshoot a variety of difficult software problems
• Define software specifications and test plans for simulators, test benches or the lab
• Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting
• Coordinate with Cross-Functional Engineering teams including EE, ME, Systems, and Physics to design and release solutions to high value problems
