Supplier Engineer

Supplier Engineer position at Applied Materials in Singapore,SGP. Develop a supportive work culture that encourages learning and growth. Work with New Product Development teams and interact with New Product Introduction teams to promote design for manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in supplier engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical engineering within manufacturing or semiconductor industry
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, casting, precision assembly)
• Proficiency in interpreting and validating engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D problem-solving, root cause analysis)
• Experience in supplier audits, capability assessments, and production readiness evaluations
• Strong project management skills to drive cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and supplier engagement
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
