Job Description
Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Product Support (TPS) professional to provide technical support to customers, including escalations, fleet performance, and system installations. The successful candidate will have expertise in materials engineering and be able to provide innovative solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Responsible for all technical support related aspects at a specific customer
- Acts as intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and Division
- Provides Alpha Site support to Engineering and Beta Site Support to customers
- Initiates and provides review of ECO's to ensure data supports fix
- Generates and presents system performance data as required
- Supports GPS in the generation of documentation such as CENs and BKMs
- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
