Process Engineer Technician

Join our team as a Process Engineering Technician in McHenry, IL. This role involves training, standardization, and data-driven decision-making to improve safety, quality, cost savings, and efficiency. The successful candidate will have experience in injection molding, process development, troubleshooting, new mold launches, and production support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• State certified Injection Molding Journeyman Certificate or equivalent (RJG MM1 certificate)
• Minimum 8–10 years of injection molding experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
• Must have advanced thermoplastic knowledge of scientific injection molding principles
• Must possess a detailed understanding of molding machines, injection molds, resins, colorants and auxiliary equipment
• Experience working with high cavitation molds preferred
• Experience working with hot runner controllers preferred
• Strong understanding of scientific molding principles
• Working knowledge of decoupled molding concepts
• Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools
• Experience with MES systems, digital dashboards, and process data analysis preferred
• Demonstrated strength in communication, coaching, and mentoring
