We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator with hands-on experience in payroll and benefits administration within a unionized environment. Requirements
- Administer and process bi-weekly payroll and benefits with accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile HR, payroll, and benefits data to ensure integrity and consistency across systems.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Provide guidance to employees on payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a customer-focused manner.
- Support union-related payroll and benefits processes in accordance with collective agreements.
- Assist in scheduling interviews, meetings, training sessions, and other HR-related activities.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team on various initiatives and employee support services, including recruitment and internal moves.
- Generate reports and analytics as needed for audits, reviews, or internal use.
- Provide administrative support for internal reporting processes, including organizing and tracking staff incident reports and assisting with the WSIB documentation.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation, payroll regulations, and best practices.
- Ad-hoc HR projects as assigned.
