Senior Software Engineer

AQEMIA is a drug invention company dedicated to creating entirely new medicines. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Compute team to own and scale the systems that power our scientific platform. You will design, build, and operate scalable compute systems supporting training, inference, and scientific workloads.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend, infrastructure, or platform systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade systems
• Experience with distributed systems and compute-heavy or high-throughput environment
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability principles
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS) and operating systems in production
