The company is seeking a Bergen-based Global HR Director to lead HR operations in Norway and establish company-wide HR policies, frameworks, and standards. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to leadership on talent planning, organizational design, and workforce development.
Requirements
- Implement and maintain HR processes, ensuring consistency, clarity, and operational efficiency
- Own and develop global HR policies and frameworks, ensuring alignment across Norway, the United States, and Chile while accounting for local requirements
- Partner with leadership on talent planning and organizational design, aligning team structure and capabilities with Aquabyte’s growth objectives
- Support and advise leadership across regions, ensuring consistent application of company standards while adapting to local employment practices
- Use data and reporting tools to track HR activities and continuously improve people processes and decision-making
- Manage employee lifecycle processes end-to-end with precision and strong follow-through
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian labor law and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and employment documentation
- Handle employee relations matters directly and professionally, including performance conversations, workplace concerns, and policy guidance
