Job Description
Director of Internal Audit position available in Melville, NY. Seeking a seasoned audit leader with experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Must have 10+ years of leadership/supervisory experience and strong knowledge of CMS Guidelines, federal and state healthcare compliance regulations, CPT and ICD-9/10 coding, and medical terminology and anatomy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of leadership/supervisory experience, with at least 5–7 years in auditing
- Strong knowledge of CMS Guidelines, Federal & State healthcare compliance regulations, CPT and ICD-9/10 coding, Medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with senior executives
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
