The food preparer is responsible for assisting chefs, cooks or food service managers in preparing ingredients for recipes and performing other food preparation and service tasks.
Requirements
- Prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standard recipes.
- Organize the workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food.
- Use safely a number of utensils including knives.
- Organize, decorate, and portion food according to established guidelines.
- Properly store food, following safety guidelines and food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work zones, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, clients, colleagues...
- Follow Aramark policies and procedures, including food safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure the safety of company assets.
