Senior Hydraulic/ Diesel Engine Technician

One of our clients who is in the Construction Industry is seeking a qualified Senior Hydraulic/ Diesel Engine Technician to join their team in Middle East. The role requires expert-level technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to train and mentor junior technicians.

Requirements

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and diesel engine systems on heavy-duty equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair faults related to pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, lines, and power units
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment operate at optimal performance
• Disassemble and rebuild hydraulic components and diesel engines
• Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
• Keep accurate maintenance records and service reports
• Lead a team of junior technicians and provide training, guidance, and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols during all repair and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely repairs and parts sourcing
• Participate in equipment upgrades and retrofitting projects
• Provide technical support for emergency breakdowns or critical failures
