Job Description
Supports the spiritual needs of a campus of around six hundred residents through leading worship services, providing emotional support, and developing a comprehensive spiritual care program.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree from a recognized college
- Master of Divinity Degree from an accredited theological seminary
- Clinical residency work in an accredited program completing a minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education or experience as a Chaplain in a retirement community
- Minimum of three years of full or part-time experience in pastoral care as a chaplain, including worship leadership and planning
- Ordained minister of a Christian Denomination, and endorsed by or eligible for endorsement by the division of chaplaincy of the denomination by which he/she has been ordained
- Board certified or eligible for certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains
