Staff Development and Training Specialist

We're seeking a Staff Development and Training Specialist to lead engaging trainings, develop training curriculum, and provide coaching and mentoring to staff. This role will play a key part in developing employees, strengthening teams, and helping staff provide exceptional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Lead engaging trainings on a variety of topics
• Develop, update, and improve training curriculum and materials
• Partner with managers to identify employee training needs
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and developmental feedback to staff
• Conduct trainings at Arc Herkimer locations and off-site settings
• Coordinate training schedules to meet team and employee needs
• Stay current on regulations, policies, and best practices
• Review and maintain training evaluations and records
• Create blended learning opportunities including classroom instruction, online learning, hands-on training, and role modeling
