Job Description
The Arc Carroll County is hiring PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Community Living homes. As a DSP, you will work in a small home setting, supporting individuals in their daily lives. This role is on-call and requires a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience not including time spent on a permit.
- Must have a clean drug screen, criminal record and a clean/safe driving record.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
- The ability to complete CPR, First Aid, Med Tech Certification and other trainings mandated by the Developmental Disabilities Administration and The Arc.
- A minimum of one year of experience supporting persons with disabilities.
