Job Description
Cognichip is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to help grow the security function from the ground up. The role will involve owning key security initiatives across cloud, product, compliance, and operations, with a strong focus on building security foundations that scale with the company and meet enterprise expectations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of security engineering experience
- Strong cloud security architecture background (AWS preferred)
- Strong Kubernetes + identity/security fundamentals (IAM)
- Hands-on experience leading incident investigations and building detection capabilities
- Experience building security tooling + guardrails for engineering teams (secure templates, self-serve patterns, CI/CD controls)
- Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders across product + engineering
