Join Arcadis as a Junior Environmental Analyst and contribute to providing sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess risks, impacts, and opportunities related to biodiversity and develop solutions and strategies related to biodiversity.
Requirements
- Higher education in Biology or related fields, with emphasis on ecology and conservation.
- Intermediate/advanced English (mainly reading) is desirable.
- Availability to perform work in the field, when necessary, according to project needs.
- Software knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Desirable knowledge of GIS for spatial analysis: Google Earth, QGIS, and/or ArcGIS.
- Technical knowledge in ecology, zoology, and/or botany, as well as basic knowledge of biomes in Brazil and general knowledge in ecology, conservation, and national and international protection and conservation instruments and initiatives.
- Ability to write technical reports, develop with text editor (Word) and its basic tools, and develop in producing presentations (PowerPoint) containing methodology and results of studies/projects.
- Good oral and written communication, organization, proactivity, flexibility to work with different types of analysis and different projects/setors, and dedication to producing high-quality technical materials.
