As a Junior Engineer Transmission & Distribution, you will support Transmission & Distribution (T&D) companies in the Netherlands and abroad with planned network expansions and upgrades. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and be part of the Energy Transition advice group, which aims to improve the quality of life for current and future generations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering (BSc, MSc, or PhD) or relevant T&D experience gained during your career
- Experience as an installation and/or plant engineer in accordance with international and/or industrial standards
- Preparation of designs for high-voltage substations: primary, control & protection, and/or secondary equipment, feasibility studies (e.g., earthing, fields, transients), reports, programs, and cost estimates
- Broad knowledge of the field and the technologies of Transmission & Distribution and a good understanding of how technology affects the operation and performance of the power grid
- Familiarity with international T&D standards, methods, and software tools (such as Revit, Elcad, Primtech, AutoCAD, PS CAD, etc.)
- Proven success in designing, engineering, and/or safely delivering projects within budget, time, and quality according to client expectations
- Ability to work together with internal and external parties within a strong (international/diverse) team culture
- Experience with writing clear and concise documentation and reports
