Job Description
The Senior Water Resources / Drainage Engineer will lead the design and implementation of drainage and stormwater management systems for major infrastructure projects in Ontario. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in drainage design and stormwater management, with a focus on infrastructure projects
- P.Eng (Professional Engineer) designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is required
- Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM), CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Openroads), and GIS applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly
