The Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of 3 24/7 continuous chemical manufacturing assets in Baytown, TX. The role will drive day-to-day operational performance to production targets, ensure consistent adherence to operating procedures, and support continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Superior leadership and management skills
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Ability to understand and operate systems and equipment used at chemical plants
- High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite and Teams
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment drawings
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related discipline
- Ten years of operations experience in supervisory positions
- Ability to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment
- Ability to wear necessary personal protection equipment (PPE)
