The Health and Safety Counselor is responsible for advising and influencing managers to achieve operational objectives and pursue the zero-injury goal. The role involves preparing material, updating KPIs, and conducting on-site presence to promote and maintain an excellence culture in health and safety.
Requirements
- Certificate in health and safety or equivalent training and/or experience
- ASP construction card required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of health and safety in an industrial environment
- Experience in the mining industry is considered a significant asset
- Team player, strategic partner
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to influence
- Good problem-solving skills and result-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple files simultaneously, and respond to required deadlines
