We are seeking a tax accountant to join the Taxation department under the guidance of the Director. The role involves preparing various tax returns for companies, individuals, and non-residents, analyzing tax provisions, and supporting tax audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax rules and international accounting standards.

Requirements

• Preparing federal and provincial tax returns for different companies, T106 statements.
• Preparing tax returns for individuals and companies (T2 and T5013)
• Preparing the mining tax statement.
• Preparing monthly sales tax returns.
• Preparing tax forms for tax withholding for non-residents.
• Reviewing consent forms.
• Communicating with tax authorities.
• Calculating interest on uncertain tax positions.
• Analyzing tax provisions impacting the company and its subsidiaries.
• Gathering and analyzing tax changes.
