Job Description
The Data Quality Lead – Reinsurance Data Platform is responsible for leading quality assurance efforts of Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application. The role involves overseeing the full QA process, ensuring reliable and high-quality software delivery, and establishing and communicating QA standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience validating complex data transformations, managing test automation for pipelines, and leading cross-functional teams on cloud data in high scale environments.
Requirements
- Lead QA efforts of Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application releases
- Critically analyze business requirements, build and execute QA test plan for Datawarehouse solutions
- Design the Master Test Plan (MTP) for data projects
- Lead a team of QA Analysts
- Work with DevOps to integrate automated data tests into the deployment pipeline
- Implement automated checks for data completeness and referential integrity within Snowflake
- Verify Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data masking (PII/Sensitive financial data)
- Reconcile Power BI report against Snowflake raw data and source systems using complex SQL
- Establish, maintain, and communicate quality assurance standards, procedures, and policies
- Work closely with product manager to develop and execute action plans to address gaps if any
- Produce quality control evidence for business and audit approval
- Lead User Acceptance Testing with Finance, Actuaries and Underwriters
- Communicate effectively with both the business and technical teams
