Job Description
Underwriting Specialist, Middle Market Excess position requires an experienced professional to underwrite and manage a portfolio of Umbrella and Excess Liability accounts to drive profitability and growth, with a hybrid position offered in Denver, San Fran, or LA.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Underwriting profitable business in Umbrella & Excess
- Specialized expert understanding of Liability products and portfolio
- Recognized relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within marketplace
- Specialized understanding of regional / local insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global elements
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework
- Experience working in complex, global matrix organization
